The excitement is building in our Central Region, as we are preparing for the next grand opening of one of our new home communities. If you haven't been to a Berks Homes grand opening, then you are missing out. These events are first-class, with no detail overlooked. This event will be a day filled with tours of our beautifully furnished model home, refreshments, and a grand prize drawing. Plus, you will have the chance to try your luck and spin our prize wheel to win an awesome home incentive option.

Our Harvest Meadows community is nestled in the shadow of the mountains of Benner Township, State College. You can imagine the beautiful mountain views, right? What I love about this location is it is close to many recreational activities that range from educational to fun. Situated close to Beaver Stadium also allows for some exciting college football action. But there's more than just football. I would suggest taking in a Penn State wrestling match to see some of the best wrestling in the nation. There is also the opportunity to take in a baseball game with the State College Spikes minor league team. If you like outdoor activities, the Bald Eagle State Park is a quick 30-minute drive. We are working hard behind the scenes to complete the construction of our Harvest Meadows model home, which is the main attraction of this grand opening, the Lilac. The Lilac is one of our townhome plans, boasting over 1,700 sq. ft. This charming home has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. There is no doubt this floorplan was intricately thought out with its open design concept that includes a kitchen that flows freely into the breakfast and family rooms. Of course, we included an owner's suite with walk-in closet and owner's bath. The basement offers an additional 545 sq. ft. that you can opt to finish, with a full bath or powder room. There is also the option to leave this space as is, and have an abundance of storage space. This home is wrapped up in a bow with a 2-car garage.
