Exterior doors – why are these so important to talk about? Aesthetics aside, they keep the “bad” out and the “good” in!  To Berks Homes, that’s pretty important, so we took the time to discover what is an all-around, great exterior door, that is eye appealing, yet built to last and protect.  We confidently settled on Therma-Tru.  Let’s see if you agree!

In addition to all of this, Therma-Tru is doing their part to “build a better world’, through their Therma-Tru Thrive program.  They are working to reduce the harmful chemicals from their PrismaGuard paint and stains, 84% of their doors are Energy Star® qualified AND National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) certified. Not to mention, that their door systems are tested for 300 lbs. of forced-entry resistance, made with enhanced lock blocks, double or even triple panes of tempered glass and a multi-point locking system, that engages the door frame at three different points, top to bottom, helping to protect your home and everything you love from intruders.
