DICKINSON PLACE, CARLISLE PA

Nestled in the picturesque Cumberland Valley, near major highways for easy access to neighboring cities such as Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Baltimore and just minutes away from the conveniences of downtown Carlisle, you will find Dickinson Place.  

We take great care when naming each of our communities and we want the names to mean something. Dickinson Place was no different.  In the fall of 1783, Benjamin Rush, signer of the Declaration of Independence, founded historic Dickinson College, right here in Carlisle PA, named for fellow founding father, John Dickinson. The citizens of Carlisle are proud of their historic college and to pay homage to the history, we’ve named this community, “Dickinson Place”. 

This brand-new community will ultimately be home to an impressive 68 homes, both single-family and villa style and is conveniently situated close to many wonderful options for dining, shopping, and entertainment spots. 

The first of three phases has been released.  Phase 1 includes 12 single-family lots, with only 9 lots remaining available and 6 villa style lots, with only 5 lots remaining, (1 of these lots is a Quick Move-In home, which is currently under construction) for a total of 18 lots.  The available lots range from .10 acres to .20 acres.

This community offers single-family floorplans that include the  Isabella, Bluebell and the  Adeline.  A little “insider” information about these homes…. they were named for the owner’s granddaughters.  What a sweet tribute to them, right? As I mentioned, villa style homes are also available at Dickinson Place. Take a look at the spacious Bluebell floor plan, which boasts 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,700+ SF of living space.

We are currently busy building the community’s model home, which is situated on lot 40. This Adeline model is scheduled to be complete Winter, 2022, and will showcase 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 1,649 SF of living space and will detail many of our favorite interior and exterior features and available upgrades.  This model offers everything you need with convenient 1-story living.

Once complete, the model home will be open to tour and a Berks Homes Representative will be available for any questions you may have, Tuesday – Saturday, 11 to 6 pm.  We welcome all to plan to take a tour and check out the beautiful décor we have planned!

In addition to the model, a Quick-Delivery home is under construction with an expected completion of Winter 2022 and is currently available for purchase.  This is our Isabella plan, which offers 1,522 SF of open living space on one level, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  There is an option to complete the lower level to your liking for an additional 527 SQ Ft of living space!
